Product Description

"Rice Thick Soy Sauce" first originated from Ah Kong's taste memory more than sixty years ago. The cooking method of thick soy sauce in the early rural society was actually like cooking porridge with added fermented soy bean sauce. Some sugar will be added to balance the taste.  Just for the sake of beauty in the early days,  the white rice will be filtered out to form a pure thick soy sauce. The modern consumer embraces whole foods, so this traditional thick soy sauce has been "modernised" by leaving the rice in the sauce. White rice, weightless, suspended in soy sauce, it is in this way that you can eat such a gentle but very ancient taste. The only one such thick soy sauce in Taiwan!

Water, black beans, sea salt, sugar, rice

Yu Ding Shing

Yudingshing has been brewing blackbean soy sauce in Taiwan for more than 60 years. Throughout its history, it has insisted on using sun-dried blackbeans, hand-fired wood roasting of the soy sauce and Time to slowly ferment the beans. The result is a mellow amber coloured liquid that stands heads above the common soy sauce found elsewhere.
