Amber coloured black bean juice is mixed with glutinous rice for fermentation. The resulting soy sauce is a salty sweet mix. A versatile sauce, we use this as our oyster sauce replacement. Drizzle over sunny side up or poached egg. Or a dipping sauce for barbecued meat.

Yudingshing has been brewing blackbean soy sauce in Taiwan for more than 60 years. Throughout its history, it has insisted on using sun-dried blackbeans, hand-fired wood roasting of the soy sauce and Time to slowly ferment the beans. The result is a mellow amber coloured liquid that stands heads above the common soy sauce found elsewhere.
