Hand picked wild grown Aiyu jelly seeds. The texture of Aiyu jelly made from wild grown aiyu seeds doesnt taste as Q as the commercial ones, but is smoother and slides easily into one's mouth. Melts in your mouth as they say it! It also possesses a slightly herbal layered taste that reminds me of qinchow, that one doesnt get from the commercially grown ones.
How to use - for 4-6 pax
You won’t need SK-II on your hands after making this! 😂😆. 20g of Aiyu seeds ( about half the packet) : 1.2L of water. Reduce to 1L of water, if you prefer jelly that is firmer.
Put the aiyu seeds in a gauze bag and knead in water in a pail/pot for 7 minutes. Leave the water and it will set in about 10mins. Chill in refrigerator.
Water: Best to use natural spring water, unfiltered water, or mineral water
Others: Make sure hands and pail/pot are clean and oil free!

自然生長三年的阿里山手採愛玉籽
野生的愛玉籽,所做出來的愛玉,不像市面上的那麼Q,反倒是滑滑軟軟的,咕溜的滑進嘴裡,很快的就在嘴裡溶化,產生了不同的層次; 也不像市面上的平淡,反倒是帶著一點青草的野味…..
1.商品比例:20克(半包)的愛玉籽,1200cc冷開水,就可做出4-6個人的一鍋量,想要吃硬一點口感者,可將水的比例降至1000cc左右。
2.愛玉籽放入紗布袋中,在水裡搓揉7分鐘左右,靜置10分鐘後,整鍋會凝結成愛玉凍,就可放冰箱冷藏食用。
3.沒有紗布袋也可以用滷包用的白色滷包袋來代替喔。
4.水質:適用山泉水、未過濾冷開水、礦泉水,不宜使用無礦物質逆滲透過濾水、蒸餾水、純水。
5. 器具:洗愛玉的器具不能有油,雙手也要完全洗乾淨。
