We've moved!!

We’ve been feeling like this a lot lately! Always running and playing catch up with that life throws at us…..which explains the hiatus since our last communication.

About the delivery price hike...🥲

As you’ve probably noticed, starting October 2024, we’ve had to make some adjustments to our free delivery threshold and delivery fees. We postponed the increase for as long as we could; we totally get how rising costs in Singapore hit hard—we’re feeling it too.

Since 2019, the e-commerce game has changed (thanks, COVID). Inflation, soaring fuel costs, and that sky-high COE (yes, even delivery trucks have to bid!)—all of these add up. Plus, our delivery drivers deserve fair pay. We’ve also noticed that more folks are dining out and cooking at home less, or spending on overseas travel experiences instead, leaving fewer people shopping with us. 😖

2024 has been wild.

We had to relocate twice due to our partners -third-party warehousing & fulfillment centres - facing eye-watering rent increases and other struggles. It is not all bad news though. The tough environment keeps us running and we are glad to find a new home for our provisions.

Here’s the silver lining: our new logistics partner now delivers everything in chiller-trucks! That means even fresher seafood, fruits, and all the deliciousness you love from Taiwan! We're also taking eco-friendly strides by using recycled packaging—less waste, fewer costs, and still the same great quality. We hope all these tweaks mean your goodies will arrive in tip-top shape. And if they don’t? Just give us a shout, and we’ll make it right!
